Estrela Dalva Project
Sponsored by Brookfield Incorporações since 2007, this program seeks to give a group of gifted children and adolescents from impoverished communities extracurricular activities to develop their cognitive, cultural, social and emotional potential, going beyond what is offered in public schools in Rio de Janeiro.
It selects gifted students and prepares them to enter schools of excellence, as well as offering them opportunities to develop critical and creative thinking and to participate in cultural activities. This means developing conscientious citizens, capable of being agents of change within their communities.

Adult Literacy School
In operation for over 8 years, this continuous educational program was developed in order to give selected employees access to formal education. Employees with difficulties in reading and writing, hired by our construction operation, are eligible to enroll in the Adult Literacy School.
The school has a teacher who applies the SESI learning methodology and is located in one of Brookfield Incorporações construction sites in Rio de Janeiro. The company provides materials (workbooks, pencils, pens) and pays the teacher’s salary.

Literacy, Capacitation and Citizenship Program
The Training Program, Capacitation and Citizenship happens in the Midwest and aims to provide special attention to the company's workers, teaching the illiterate developer to write their own name and achieve a satisfactory level of mathematical, reading and writing.
With this project it is possible to awaken the self-esteem and work on citizenship, social responsibility and interpersonal relationships, always encouraging the growth and better performance. In 2009 benefited from an average of 210 employees who participated in literacy since the fourth grade. 30 students participated in the course of Mason.
